Thank-you so much for stopping by! My name is Rachel Kaylynn and Joyfully Weary is a place where I document our families journey. I'm a full time homemaker and homeschooler so I share  a lot of the activities that keep us busy during the day. I also document lots of the little things that bring our family joy and a few of our hardships. I hope your find some things here that are useful and that make you smile.

Three things you should know about me...

1-I'm a follower of Jesus Christ and I am trusting in Him and Him alone for my salvation. Through Him I have a hope for the future and it's my prayer that as I walk with Him I'll become more like Him.

2- I'm married to an extraordinary man, Jeremy.

3-We have been blessed with three wonderful children.

If you are still interested in more, here are some less important facts - I grew up in Iowa. I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Family and Child Services.  After college I worked for two non-profit social services agencies. For the first, I supervised an after-school program and was an abuse prevention specialist. At the second I worked in child care, first as teacher and then as a director.

Still interested? Some of my favorite things are good books, chocolate, coffee, and fashion.  I do not feel like I'm very skilled at being crafty but I love pretty things so there's a lot I hope to learn - photography and sewing are currently at the top of the list.
